Project information
The project group has further developed a robot that can harvest plants autonomously. The goal is to make cities greener and more circular, and to create opportunities for residents to grow food independently within the city on small plots.
What has been realised?
In the project, a robot has been developed to grow food in small spaces. Food can be grown on balconies, rooftops, and in office buildings. This development makes it possible for everyone to grow their own food in the future, even in large cities where space is scarce.
What has been learned?
In the project, students from various courses learned to collaborate with each other. By being open to one another and pooling their strengths, they were able to successfully complete the project within 20 weeks. In doing so, the project members gained new technical knowledge from different areas of engineering.
