By utilising sensors and data, water is no longer applied at fixed times but is tailored to the current needs of the crop. In this way, the project contributes to more efficient water use and future-proof cultivation.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-group twee paddingtopbottom3 has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<article class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Purpose<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Less water, better yield<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aim of Dripcontrol is to reduce water consumption without compromising on yield and quality. By providing growers with real-time insight into soil and crop conditions, irrigation times can be determined more accurately. Sensors continuously gather data on soil moisture and environmental factors, after which the system provides irrigation advice or automatically controls irrigation.
