It includes the evaluation of the Odd.Bot weeding robot during different growth stages of carrots, with special attention paid to growth stages BBCH 11 and 12.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-group twee paddingtopbottom3 has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<article class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Purpose<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main objective is to gain insight into the method and quality of the weeding process, by comparing automated and manual weeding. It will also be investigated whether early-stage weeding can reduce weed pressure later in the season, with a possible addition of a mechanical weeding module for later growth stages. This also includes robustness measurements of the Odd.Bot weeding robot. In another work package, the Odd.Bot weeding robot will be tested in onion cultivation during various early growth stages.
