The assignment is to make the existing Avular Origin One (an existing platform) drive autonomously to a specific point in a crop row, without causing any damage to the crops.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group twee paddingtopbottom3 has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-right\"><strong>What has been realised?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-paragraph\">Within this project, the project team has achieved several objectives. Firstly, the team took responsibility for writing the software that allows the robot to move autonomously through the field. The engineering cycle was applied, with the analysis, design, realisation, and testing of the robot being central. In addition, the students also selected specific hardware, namely a camera. They wrote software for autonomous driving, route planning, and correcting the robot to prevent damage to the crops.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-group twee paddingtopbottom3 has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What has been learned?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project team gained experience in multidisciplinary collaboration. Initially, there was a division of roles, but concrete tasks were lacking. Eventually, the group was advised to bring more structure to the tasks, which made the project considerably more efficient.
