{"id":417,"count":0,"description":"The demand for automation is growing strongly in sectors such as logistics, industry and healthcare, driven by persistent labor shortages and the increasing complexity of processes. Interreg CAMoRo responds to this by developing collaborative autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) that communicate with each other and coordinate their actions.\r\n\r\nIn this cross-border project, knowledge institutions, technology companies and network organizations from the Netherlands and Flanders are working together on a shared innovation: a platform that enables robots to operate no longer in isolation, but to collaborate efficiently within complex environments.\r\n\r\nFrom loose robots to intelligent collaboration\r\nCurrent AMR applications often lack coordination, leading to inefficiency, congestion, and suboptimal deployment. CAMoRo is developing a solution to this by:\r\n\r\nmaking real-time communication between robots possible,\r\nto support joint decision-making,\r\nand allowing robots to work together flexibly in dynamic environments.\r\nPractical validation in multiple sectors\r\nThe technology is validated in realistic applications, including:\r\n\r\ncooperation between robots and drones,\r\nlogistical optimization in warehouses,\r\nsafe interaction between robots and human operators,\r\nand deployment in complex healthcare environments.\r\nCross-border impact\r\nBy pooling expertise in robotics, AI and communication technology, CAMoRo strengthens the innovation power of the Flemish-Dutch high-tech sector. The project contributes to:\r\n\r\nhigher productivity and efficiency,\r\nbetter utilization of personnel,\r\nand accelerating the adoption of robotics within SMEs and industry. Project objectives (abbreviated \u2013 Interreg-proof)\r\nThe main objective of the CAMoRo project is to strengthen the innovation and research capacity in the Flemish-Dutch border region by developing and implementing collaborative autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).\r\n\r\nThe objectives are:\r\n\r\nDeveloping a reliable platform for collaborative AMR, including communication, algorithms, and integration, aimed at scalable collaboration between robots\r\nImproving efficiency and productivity in sectors such as logistics, industry, and healthcare through better coordination and task distribution between robots\r\nStrengthening cross-border R&D and cooperation between knowledge institutions and industry, with a focus on application by SMEs\r\nValidation of technology in practical use cases, focused on broad applicability and adoption across different sectors\r\nAccelerating market introduction and scaling up of robotics innovations through demonstrations, knowledge sharing and network activation","link":"https:\/\/b-robotics.eu\/en\/project-programmas\/interreg-camoro\/","name":"Interreg CAMoRo","slug":"interreg-camoro","taxonomy":"programma","parent":0,"meta":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/b-robotics.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/programma\/417","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/b-robotics.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/programma"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/b-robotics.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/taxonomies\/programma"}],"wp:post_type":[{"href":"https:\/\/b-robotics.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project?programma=417"}],"curies":[{"name":"word processing","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
